I got home from work yesterday and noticed I have one little flower, growing in my back yard of ... dirt. Such a pretty little flower. All bright like sunshine. My one spot of color.
I got all excited.
My trigger finger is getting all twitchy, wanting to go take pictures of spring, but it's early here and there's not that much spring yet. But I have my one little flower. So I grabbed the camera and went to take it's picture.
Before I knew it, I'd been snapping away and had... many pictures.
Isn't it pretty? My one little spot of color.
My one little flower.
Thought it would be nice to share.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day. :)
Later taters!

It's lovely! :))
I miss having daffodils! They won't grow here in FL because they need a frost in order to come back the following year. There are several flowers that I miss that are like that... like lilacs... oh how I miss the smell of blooming lilacs! I guess I will have to be content with my gardenia tree (yes, it is no longer a bush!) out front.
Thanks for sharing your first touch of spring!
*hugs*

Lovely!
Tracy's little quote makes me think... Freia needs some spring flower jewelry designs maybe? Daffodils are nicely symmetrical, could work...
Thanks Anne :D
@Brenda: I do love the daffodils. I didn't plant that one thou. Seems when they took out the big tree that fell on my house... there was a flower waiting to bloom. :D Not much grows at my house. Between short grow season, bad soil from the acidic pine trees and the lava rock bedrock underneath it all... I've quit trying. I used to have a giant lilac at my old house, tried to plant 2 here but they are scrawny.
@Tracy: Thanks :D I love your little quote there. That's awesome. :D
@Rhi: Yeah, Freia is. That's what brought out the rose quartz a few weeks back. But got side tracked. Right now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my sterling silver dipped (real) leaf. :D It's... kinda springy. lol it's a leaf anyway. :D
